Industry Background
As a high-speed, efficient and safe means of transportation, the high-speed train is widely used in the rapid transportation between cities. However, in the process of operation, high-speed trains often face the erosion of the external environment, such as ultraviolet light, humidity and chemical corrosion, resulting in coating aging, fading and corrosion problems, reducing the appearance and service life of the train. Therefore, seeking a coating material with excellent weather resistance, corrosion resistance and safety and environmental protection has become an important demand of the high-speed rail industry.
To address these challenges, silica anti-corrosive pigments have been introduced. It is an environmentally friendly and efficient ion-exchanged pigment, an effective alternative to heavy metal pigments such as zinc and strontium chromate, and can be used to coat many different substrates, including galvanized steel, zinc alloys and galvanized aluminum.
Customer Demand
- Prolong the life of metal parts and improve the scratch resistance of coating.
- Effectively block oxygen and humidity, reduce the corrosion of metal substrate, and extend the service life of high-speed trains.
- It does not contain harmful heavy metal components, meets environmental requirements, and is environmentally friendly.
Recommended
HOMAC? LM30
HOMAC® is an anti-corrosive pigment based on calcium ion-exchanged silica, which has excellent anti-corrosion effect, environmental protection, non-toxic, and no heavy metals.
- The LM30 series is recommended for coil steel primers and is suitable for DFT < 20μm coatings. Especially suitable for PCM polyester and polyurethane systems.
